On May 29, at 10 a.m. (Brasília time), we held the seminar “Animal welfare: the Achilles’ heel of the Brazilian agri-food system“, offered by Cátedra Josué de Castro.
In this seminar, we reflected on:
1) Animal welfare as a practice for regenerative animal production and food sustainability;
2) Effects of malnutrition on global health;
3) Challenges of the contemporary food model
