On November 29, at 10 a.m. (Brasília time), we held the seminar Climate change and food systems, offered by ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability.

In this seminar we reflected on the main aspects of climate change worldwide and in Brazil. We considered how food systems can be a response for local governments, since they can contribute to expanding green areas, protecting water springs and changing microclimates, and we presented the experience of the city of Belo Horizonte in creating urban agroforests.
