The Ministry of Citizenship is conducting the Food and Nutrition Security Mapping survey (MapaSAN 2022), and municipalities have until July 2 to register their actions using the digital forms available here.

Everyone’s participation is very important, since Brazil has not had updated data since 2018.
This is the fourth edition of the survey, which began in 2014 and aims to collect data from municipalities on the structures and components of the National Food and Nutrition Security System (SISAN), as well as to help improve the management of the National Food and Nutrition Security Policy at the federal, state and municipal levels.

Municipalities’ participation in MapaSAN is voluntary, but it is essential so that government bodies and civil society organizations can work on designing programs and actions aimed at guaranteeing the human right to adequate food throughout the national territory.

In this edition, MapaSAN is organized into three thematic areas: the food and nutrition security system at the municipal level; food and nutrition security policy; and public food and nutrition security facilities.
