Instituto Fome Zero has opened pre-registration for the course “Food and Nutrition Security in Municipalities in 2022”.
The goal is to train public officials and civil society actors to work at the municipal level in favor of food and nutrition security through public policies, a very important issue in Brazil today.
The course consists of 14 online classes with some of Brazil’s leading experts. Our director, Juliana Tângari, will teach class 8 on “The importance of the local/municipal sphere for FNS (food and nutrition security) policies.”
The course is of special interest to municipal officials (city government employees and members of the municipal COMSEA – Food and Nutrition Security Council), leaders working with FNS public policies, and researchers and students in the field.
