Cities interested in taking part in our next lab and joining the LUPPA Community have until August 17 to apply! Below we share important information and a step-by-step guide on how to apply.
Why take part in the 2nd edition?
The cities selected for this edition will:
- Take part in a national lab of cities engaged with the agenda of sustainable and fair food systems, with the possibility of international visibility for their good practices;
- Access content on aspects of local food systems;
- Share experiences, information and tools with other cities;
- Take part in seminars, training sessions and a mutual support network among cities; Take part in a specific selection process to receive technical cooperation from mentor cities;
And, above all, benefit from solid support to develop or improve their Municipal Food and Nutrition Security Public Policy
Who can participate:
- Brazilian cities with up to 1.5 million inhabitants whose municipal government is committed to and engaged in developing public policies related to food systems, even if at an early stage.
- To demonstrate this commitment, cities must attach to the application form a letter of commitment signed by the Mayor or Deputy Mayor;
- We will select up to 10 cities for this edition. We value territorial diversity and seek cities from all Brazilian biomes, with 40% of the places reserved for cities located in the Legal Amazon.
