On August 30, at 10 a.m. (Brasília time), we held the seminar “Tax Reform, Food and Municipalities”, offered by ACT Promoção da Saúde.
In this seminar we reflected on the structural and short-term causes affecting food prices that explain why the healthy eating recommended by the Dietary Guidelines is increasingly out of reach for the Brazilian population, the impact of taxes, and the paths proposed by the tax reform.
