In this seminar we reflected on how to strengthen the governance link of urban food systems in Brazil between the national and international levels in order to adopt strategies that support climate change adaptation and mitigation; on the importance of promoting nutrition and environmental education in municipal schools to encourage healthy eating habits; and on the challenges and opportunities for transforming the food system in a sustainable and resilient way at the local level.
