At LUPPA, we work to transform the urban food agenda in Brazil, and we believe this is a collective journey in which many actors come together to build the fair, healthy and sustainable food systems that governments want to deliver and in which citizens want to live.
To support us in this mission, we are looking for institutions, coalitions and individuals who invest in impact initiatives in one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDGs 2, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16 and 17, and who would like to financially support our third edition, which will begin in August 2023 and run until August 2024.
We are seeking organizations that wish to contribute financial resources or that can provide their contribution in the form of services such as airfare, accommodation, catering for in-person events, as well as technology services, among others.
So far, our lab has had the participation of 33 cities, spread across 18 states in Brazil’s 5 regions, totaling more than 11 million inhabitants. In our third edition, we will add 10 more cities to this count, whose inhabitants will have the opportunity to live in municipalities that build their food policies with social participation, engagement, intersectorality, and broader, more inclusive governance.
