The 2nd edition of LUPPA is starting soon, and here we remain super excited to share all the news! And as we know, the work carried out in the project is done by many hands. So we are happy to announce that Curitiba and Recife have reaffirmed their commitment as mentor cities, and they are now joined by the cities of Salvador, São Paulo and Osasco. And a heavyweight team will support us by sharing their expertise with the LUPPA Community! In addition to continuing the work begun in the first edition with the Group of Studies, Research and Practices in Food Environment and Health of the Federal University of Minas Gerais – GEPPAAS/UFMG, Humane Society International and Mercy for Animals, our partners in this edition are ACT Promoção da Saúde, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations – FAO Brazil, the Josué de Castro Chair on Healthy and Sustainable Food Systems at USP – Universidade de São Paulo, Embrapa Alimentos e Territórios, IDEC – Instituto Brasileiro de Defesa do Consumidor (Brazilian Institute for Consumer Protection), Instituto Kairós Ética e Atuação Responsável, Instituto Regenera and WWF Brazil. It is with the strength of this joint work that we will move forward in building fairer, healthier and more sustainable food systems for people and the planet.
